brainchild-A very ood joke about An American, Japanese, and a Mallu were sitting in the sauna. ...
Mallu had a wonderful presence of mind to outwit the American & the Japanese.
A great koke indeed !...
An American, Japanese, and a Mallu were sitting in the sauna.
Suddenly there was a beeping sound. The American pressed his forearm and the beeping stopped. The others looked at him questioningly."
That`s my pager," he said, "I have a microchip under the skin of my arm.
A few minutes later a phone rang.. The Japanese lifted his palm to his ear. When he finished he explained, "That`s my mobile phone. I have a microchip in my hand.
The Mallu felt low-tech and inferior. He didn`t know what to do to be as impressive as the American & the Japanese. He decided to take a break in the toilet. When he returned, he didn`t realize that there was a piece of toilet paper that had gotten stuck and was hanging from his backside.
The others raised their eyebrows and said, "Wow! What`s that?" Instead of being embarrassed, inspiration struck his mind.
The Mallu explained, "I`m getting a FAX”.
The other two fainted.

brainchild-Most of the time we judge people by their outer appearance!!This attitude needs to be changed!!...
they will be never happy and let others be happy.. that is their strength and weakness...
This is what I found on Stanford website.
The Stanfords visited several great universities of the East to gather ideas. An urban legend, widely circulated on the Internet but untrue, describes the couple as poorly-dressed country bumpkins who decided to found their own university only after being rebuffed in their offer to endow a building at Harvard. They did visit Harvard`s president but were well-received and given advice on starting a new university in California. From the outset they made some untraditional choices: the university would be coeducational, in a time when most were all-male; non-denominational, when most were associated with a religious organization; and avowedly practical, producing "cultured and useful citizens" when most were concerned only with the former...
yes, adjustment with the egoistic people. But, the egoistic people I have seen were never happy. ...
Don`t believe that hoax email. The stanfords wanted to build something of their own in California as a memorial to his son. They didn`t have an idea to build a university. They went to Cornell and Yale too for ideas before going to Harward. Harward president gave the idea of University and gave an estimate of the cost. The hoax email has been in circulation since 1998, it seems....
yes possible.... but with a bit difficulty... since adjustment will be more.. from self......
True. But we can be happy even when egoistic people are around, if we think!...
its really heart touching

Dear Brainchild,
A good episode to highlight our enemy-EGO !
I remember a saying "OUTWARD APPEARANCES ARE ALWAYS DECEPTIVE"
Don`t judge a person only by his appearance !
Yet another saying which impressed me most is " We are continually faced by great opportunities brilliantly disguised as insoluble problems "
Likewise,as in the above saying, the President of Harvard University ,missed a very great opportunity when he and his secretary were underestimated Mr and Mrs. Leland Stanford by their dress.
...
it is the way we look at things....if we feel we can be happy we can, else we can be unhappy.....
If you and everyone on earth are like me, would it make me happy? I doubt!!!!...
