Iam new to market,i have 20 shares of IOC at 650 purchased today ....will i get bonus 20 share or not,If i get then my total share will be 40 and at total cost price of 13000..means 50% profit is it so,plz anybody ans my query ...

Record date for Bonus issue is 30.10.09 and
expected ex-Bonus price will be around 350/-...

While the fuel price hike is some distance away..weakening dollar will certainly help keep the under recoveries in check. Crude Oil prices can not sustain much above where they are at today ($75-$85) in the short to medium term....so the threat of huge under-recoveries seems not so significant.

I too believe the results will be stronger in quarters to come and hence we should see the stock performing well.

Bonus in itself should not have a significant impact on price and the Ex bonus price should ideally be around half of what it is trading at cum-bonus(300-350)....

it is a very good positive development, the oil ministry plans to raise price also of petrol, diesel, etc. which will improve margins of indian oil
