Posted by : MMB MessengerGranules India Limited has informed the Exchange that the Companys Accounting period originally being April - March was extended to 15 months in the year 2003-04 i.e. upto June 30, 2004 and accordingly, from the year 2004-05, the financial year was for the period July - June and the same was followed up to the year 2007-08. However, for the year 2008-09, the Board of Directors, at the meeting held on October 20, 2008 had resolved to close the Accounts as at March 31, 2009 and hence, the Financial year 2008- 09 was for a period of nine months only i.e. July 1, 2008 to March 31, 2009. Further, the financial year 2009-2010 onwards, the Accounting period of the Company would be the period April-March....
