Ambuja Cements paid an advance tax of Rs 150 crore for the July-September quarter vs Rs 70 crore in the previous quarter.

With cost of fuel and power coming down sharply, they are exceed market expectations many fold.

Other great cement companies to look at are :-
J K Lakshmi
Binani Cement and Binani Industries
Birla Corporation

Of these, Binani Cement and Binani Industries will out-perform the industry due to the locational advantages of their plants.
