Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd has informed BSE that the Board of Directors of the Bank at its meeting held on October 27, 2009, inter alia, has approved the appointment of Dr. Sudipto Mundle as an Additional Director on the Board of Directors of the Bank.
The Board also took note of the resignation of Mr. Shishir Bajaj as a Director of the Bank. He is resigning from the Board in view of the fact that the Bajaj group is in the process of registering one of its companies, in which Mr. Bajaj is a substantial shareholder and Director, as a non banking financial company with the Reserve Bank of India....

Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd has announced the following Unaudited results for the quarter ended September 30, 2009:
The Bank has posted a net profit of Rs 1259.093 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2009 as compared to Rs 478.653 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2008. Total Income has increased from Rs 8067.723 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2008 to Rs 8841.899 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2009.
The Unaudited Consolidated Results are as follows
The Group has posted a consolidated profit after tax of Rs 2997.668 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2009 as compared to Rs 1609.706 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2008. Total Income has increased from Rs 18495.163 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2008 to Rs 23129.130 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2009....
