ITC Ltd has informed BSE that the Company on October 19, 2009 has issued and allotted 33,72,790 Ordinary Shares of Re. 1/- each, upon exercise of 3,37,279 Options by Optionees under the Companys Employee Stock Option Schemes.
Consequently, with effect from October 19, 2009, the Issued and Subscribed Share Capital of the Company stands increased to Rs. 378,35,52,310/- divided into 378,35,52,310 Ordinary Shares of Re. 1/- each....

You have to look to their past history i.e. in how many years they announce bonus. At the sametime their working results and growth in profits....

Hi vkk43, Some magazines are showing some companies as Bonus candidate. How we can understand that such and such companies are bonus candidates. No double some companies have much reserves and Y to Y profits, but how it can be calculated? ...
Results quite good. Looking good in coming months....

ITC result is good, cigrate, agri, paper business gave good profit but when fmcg business will turn into profit.
ITC is pushing more on agri, fmcg and paper business.
wait for turning fmcg business just becoming longer.

The Company has posted a net profit after tax of Rs 10099.10 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2009 as compared to Rs 8027.20 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2008. Total Income has increased from Rs 39731.20 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2008 to Rs 44137.20 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2009....
