And remmeber i am no less than Madhuri when it comes to dance.... i coudl dance anything until i was 37.. my hubby would watch me dance those numbers with a lot of itnerest.. i would teach a bunch of kids Madhuri`s dance numbers either for some fancy dress or some other function... my hubby said i should teach dance the way saroj teaches.. but saroj is a pro me a WANNABE....
Today`s Bhule Bisere Geet had some fantastic Saroj Khan choreographed numbers.
What fun to learn dance steps from her... loved the way Madhuri danced those Tezaab numbers.... Madhuri is the best dancer i have seen to date.... oh how i would love to do all those numbers and learn it from Saroj Khan.. what say Micks, shall we? LOL... Tu cheez badi hai mast mast.... they showed this today.. and you know that professional act Raveena is putting on is all thanks to Saroj Khan... they also showed Ranbir dancing the Saawariya number.... what a talented woman
Did you know she was married at 13 to one sohanlal who was 41 years old. LOL.. grandfather or husband. LOL... she acted in one picture TAMANA as a 3 year old as she sat on the moon.
okay you will write somethign about Madhuri`s dance numbers tezaab and those looks and shakes... you should put it like i can capture the image as i read your post.... and appreciation of Saroj khan should be part of it.......
Lolo is it? Karishma`s pet name? Lolo and Bebo.. LOL
Cant believe Karishma at 35 is becoming second time mom.... gosh at 35 my kids were 15 years old.. ha ha ha
Now these two girls are in their 30s... while we are still living in the days of their dad of Jawani Diwani Fame.. why is time so unfair to us...... its so sad to the see the children of superstars of our times aging. LOL...
This story anuvaranan which i watched ysday ran something like this. Rahul Bose is an architect in England, he is offered a job to build resorts in the Himalayas... he comes back to calcutta..Now there is another couple in the story, i.e the marketing manager in the same project... The marketging manager is hooked to SENSEX AND NIFTY and his wife is so so bored with him.... so she tries to get Rahul`s attention.. Rahul is too much in love with his wife kind of thing.... however when the marketing guy goes abroad his wife visits the same spot where Rahul is laying out his architectural plans... earlier too she makes known her vibes for him... so he is not surprised to find her in the Himalayas.. unfortuantely one night Rahul has a silent heart attack adn passes away. this lady in the adjacent room wonders why he hasnt woken up knocks on his door, finds him dead.... although they shared a platonic relationship the lady was taken by hubby and left on a highway. LOL... i would have flown a kite but this lady is weeping and back home the wife of Rahul is sad and confused.. her hubby never showed a trace of his love for some other woman ever so whats this new bit of news she wonders.... HA HA... all in all when rahul died i dint want to know what happened so i went back to my RANBAXY story. LOL...
Then i should definitely watch WELCOME TO SAJJANPUR, will get a DVD adn watch it.
I liked the love story in HUM APKE HAIN KAUN but the candy/sugar bit was too much to digest. I wonder if any joint family function so smoothly? But oh good entertainment... and that Pehla pehla pyaar hai is such a lovely song...
Mungaru Male almost looked like the Script was developing as the movie played out. So thats why its so fresh.. Except that rabbit bit everything was fine.. the love story was so vibrant... this song even beats a banghra
kunidu kunidu baare - (2)
kuniva ninna mele malaya haniya male
jivake jiva tandavale
jivakenta saniha baare olave vismaya...olave vismaya
ninna prema rupa kandu nanu tanmaya
hutchhu huduga ninu bejji helalenu
jivake rekke tandavane
banigene haro baro volve vismaya...
I said jamai and you add a ghar in front... LOL... Forget Ghar I haven`t got even a chippu from my FIL... Nor do I expect one... Cheers...
As for Dilwale Dulhania Le jayenge... I did not like that movie one bit... Big bore except for Kajol... Also I was talking of recent movies... Cheers...
PS: A love story should be either like Mungaru Male except for the last 30 minutes or like Cassablanca or like Hum Aapke hain... It should have beauty as the centre theme... Since Love to me signifies beauty... Which was missing from DDLJ... But Welcome to Sajjanpur sure has loads of it... To me a much better movie... Cheers......
I said jamai and you add a ghar in front... LOL... Forget Ghar I haven`t got even a chippu from my FIL... Nor do I expect one... Cheers......
callahan
You are a ghar jamai?????????????
But that i thought was the prerogative of politicians.
BTW its strange that you have not mentioned DILWALE DULHANIYA LE JAYENGE in that list....
If that was the case I would have claimed all Satyajit Ray movies were fantastic... LOL...
Being a jamai(SIL is a taboo! LOL !), yes I have tasted hilsa... Liked it... In fact last trip I did go to Metro in calcutta and got a 4 kilo hilsa!!! You get 6kgs plus weighty Ruhu and katla there... Absolutely fab is Metro in Calcutta... Cheers......
RN
A beautiful song
and well picturised too
...
Sir,not understood your message of undiclosed land of the actor.... can you pl elaborate or explain.......
I think another movie which makes the grade is Choti si baat, another Ashok Kumar Cameo, with excellent support by Amol Palekar and Aasrani......
I hope your liking for Ganguly is not because of your last statement... LOL...
Anyways, because of your cricketing statements, our friends like Ramki, eshers, chemkiron and truesaid would love to have your head as breakfast... Ha...ha...ha...ha...ROFL...
BTW: Being a son in law of a Bengali, have you ever tasted hilsa???...
Dear Sir
It ought to be a hit as the lead actor in the movie possessed undisclosed 300 acres of fertile agricultural land not visible to naked MMB visitor`s eye !
:)

The only reason I talked of ONLY Ashok Kumar is that his was the most lovable character... I was only replying to micky59 when I referred to Mithun and Rati... as for Utpal Dutt his horny expression with eyes popping out was truly outstanding... Ditto with AK Hangal who played a suave old man with gusto... But Ashok Kumar maybe because of his role was a cut above...
Coming to KK he was a gifted singer... There are many songs he has made magic out of... But then guys like Manna Dey and Rafi were not as talented and needed to work hard... In a sense they were the Tendulkars and Darvids while KK was like Ganguly and G.R.Vishwanath and Brian Lara all rolled into one... LOL... Yes Kishore could do justice to ANY song while Rafi surely could not although there are some really memorable songs of his tlike.. But then again Manna Dey like KK could do justice to any song... Just that he needed to work really hard for it... Hence my ranking him above KK...
BTW if I start talking of Golmaal then in comes Angoor and Chupke Chupke and ... So I stayed with the best... Those to me were absolute tops...
PS: I am married to a Bengali... You want me to have my next lunch and dinner and breakfast or not! Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha... ROFL......
