Since a rumour I did not really try to understand what it was, however whatever it be lately the scrip has become very volatile and keeps moving range bound....
Will you let us know the rumour....
I have no info about this rumour....
The scrip came down further by about 5.65%today with lot of volatile movement, what is the latest about the present day rumour ?...

over the past 1 month there have been lots of rumors regarding piramal health (formerly nicholas piramal) promoters selling out .... every time the rumors grow strong ... the promoters are denying it ..... it has happened on atleast 2 instances in the past 1 month ....
but ..... there cannot be any some without a fire ..... so there must b
some reason for these type of rumors to resurface every now n then ....
anybody throw any light on this topic ??

With reference to earlier annoucement dated December 23, 2008, regarding signing of definitive merger agreement for acquisition of Minrad International Inc ("Minrad"), USA a provider of generic inhalation anesthetics, subject to approval by Minrads shareholders and other closing conditions, Piramal Healthcare Ltd has now informed BSE that Minrads shareholders have voted to approve the merger and that the acquisition of Minrad is now complete.
In this regards the Company has issued a Press Release titled "Piramal Healthcare Limited Completes Acquisition of Minrad International, Inc."...

There seems to be some insider news. If Ranbaxy continues its downtrend, it can come out of the sensex.
If Piramal healthcare continues its uptrend, it can replace Ranbaxy.
