I appreciate your point of view. However, I would like to point out that some times when one holds a scrip for long time, one tends to form an opinion and that can influence his/her decision making. The difference between the last five years and now is the Govt`s thrust on Infrastructure and emphasis on increasing returns from PSUs. Further left is not influencing Govt`s decisions. Hence, I see P/E expansion for Balmer Lawrie. As far as earnings go, Balmer Lawrie has been performing steadily, even though it has presence in Kolkata. This is the source of my optimism. ...

Be cool!I am holding this scrip for the past 5+ years. It is a good div yielding share & gives reasonable appreciation too!May be becz of PSU(Kolkata)in nature, it is not giving any quick major benefits.I donot think it could be a 5-bagger in 2 yrs, keeping my long exp with this scrip....

A predominantly logistics company like Balmer Lawrie is available at forward P/E of just 5.5 times. Such opportunity is rare. I can observe from trading patterns that smart accumulation is happening at Rs.475-Rs.485 level. This scrip is likely to witness both earning expansion and P/E expansion. Hence seems to be a potential 5 bagger in two years. ...

guys please buy this scrip at current levels to reach a target of atleast 700/- in coming 3 months time.Once Q2 results and half yearly results are out the scrip shall be on a roll definitely. If mkt corrects from hereon all the more reason to buy.at current price the scrip gives dividend yield of 4.17% which is still on higher side...A PSU Bonus candidate and due for quite some time......

I had recommended this stick when it was trading at about 320-330 some 3 months back and had also said that this is a PSU with good track record and fantastic results. The company is a real GEM those with long term perspective may buy it and the company is also a strong Bonus candidate. It`s simply a buy........

Still worth buying. If the company is successful in achieving its stated mission, EPS could be in the order of Rs. 85-to 90. Give a discounting factor of 7 to 10 in one year period. Plus Dividend yield. One can still think of buying with a one year time horizon. Please note this is only my opinion. You may study further and decide as any investment will have certain risks too. In Balmer Lawrie at the moment risks appear to be low. ...

Luckily it is still available at Rs.445-450/-. I noticed that it has declared Rs.20/-per share as dividend. Good dividend yield. That made me to study fundamentals. It is simply superb. Good EPS. Its stated mission is to have Rs.200 crores PBT by 2010.That should ensure decent growth. The company normally distributes app. 30% of its PAT as Dividend, as can be seen from past trend. That takes care of decent returns. The company derives substantial revenue from Logistics, which is a growth area. Hence it is a value cum growth play with a good dividend yield. At Rs.448/- it is a very good buy....
