Sobha Developers Ltd has informed BSE that the Extra Ordinary General Meeting (EGM) of the Company will be held on June 17, 2009, inter alia, to transact the following:
1. Approval under Section 81 (1A) of the Companies Act, 1956 to increase in the share capital of the Company up to Rs 1500 Crores.
2. Increase in the limit of investment by foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) in the equity shares of the Company up to 100% of the equity share capital of the Company....

Real estate will have impact in cities like bangalore , hyderabad, north ....dlf unitech etc.. who have bought land for commercial purpose at high rate will be affected .. outsourcing will not stop , new projects for otsourcing will stop as us govt will come up with stricter norms...i got to knw tht sobha is offering their flats to their vendors who supplied cement and constrution material to thm ...
