Dear Sheelu,
A brokerage house report had indicated that share price may fall by 70% if RNRL looses the SC case and many wise boarders feel that it can appreciate by 200 - 300% if it wins the case. My personal belief is that the case is Advantage RNRL merely due to a fact that the GOI (through GoM) approved hiked gas price was not notified in the official Gazzatte. I know the reports and case-laws of criminal cases, where the accused persons could not be punished even after their guilt was proved merely due to non-notification of the concerned Law in Gazzatte. A wise lawyer on the MMB board can clarify further, if any. Sheelu, if at all you can average further, CMP around 70 is good, better is around 60 and best price is around 50. Please take your own wise decision. Thanks. akkbatra....

Varner,
Yes, it could be due to a fact whereby Ram Jethmalani had requested the SC to permit him to have first examination of those 7 independant directors who had filed seperate affidavits claiming to have no knowledge of family MoU. Although I donot know the case-laws or precedents whether such examinations or cross examinations are permitted at HC and SC level, but it seems that Salve is not confident and hence the request for withdrawal of affidavits. A wise lawyer on the MMb board can clarify further, if any. Thanks. akkbatra....

Shares of India`s biggest listed company Reliance Industries (RELI.BO: Quote, Profile, Research) are down since mid-June, compared with the rising benchmark index, in an unusual occurrence for a firm seen as a bellwether for the country`s stock market.
Investors have been worried about a gas-pricing dispute between the company, led by billionaire Mukesh Ambani, and Reliance Natural (RENR.BO: Quote, Profile, Research) that is controlled by his estranged younger brother Anil. The dispute is being heard by India`s top court. [ID:nBOM489932]
While an unfavourable ruling from a lower court in June has helped knock 11 percent of its market value to about $75 billion over the past five months, Reliance shares have jumped 15 percent over the past week on rumours of a settlement between the Ambani siblings even though the brothers have ruled out a patch-up.
Is the tide turning for investors in the refining, petrochemicals, and oil and gas exploration giant?

To add to it counsel fr ril harish salve is saying in court that if ril supplies gas the the mou price to rnrl fr 13 yrs it would make no losses and only profit .what is left in the case i fail to understand only delaying tactics , looks like a win win fr anil bhai and ram jethmalani .kindly someone value the share on the basis of a win fr rnrl .wierd thing is this info was flashed 3 minutes before mkt closing fr the week was nt able to buy ....
