GVK Power & Infrastructure Ltd has announced the following Unaudited results for the quarter ended September 30, 2009:

The Company has posted a net profit of Rs 84.10 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2009 as compared to Rs 47.60 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2008. Total Income has increased from Rs 102.80 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2008 to Rs 178.10 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2009.

The Unaudited Consolidated Results are as follows

The Group has posted a net profit after tax after minority interest of Rs 442.30 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2009 as compared to Rs 304.70 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2008. Total Income has increased from Rs 1155.00 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2008 to Rs 5002.80 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2009. ...

What rate did u buy it and how badly u need the cash will hv to be the deciding factor,no?I would think remaining invested in this for atleast a year is bound to bring good rewards.This company is not just into power sector....

This is a Sunrise company and having interest in construction, power, hotel, airport etc. They have completed projects in all these areas (not like others who are just planning. Hence, it is a long term story. Better you keep it for long term with a target of 70....

I said that I had bought 1000 shares in December,2008 and enjyng the cool ride.
