Educomp Solutions Ltd has announced the following Unaudited results for the quarter ended September 30, 2009:
The Company has posted a net profit of Rs 504.047 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2009 as compared to Rs 253.886 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2008. Total Income has increased from Rs 1036.544 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2008 to Rs 2149.092 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2009.
The Unaudited Consolidated Results are as follows
The Group has posted a net profit after minority interest of Rs 1155.086 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2009 as compared to Rs 288.032 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2008. Total Income has increased from Rs 1429.926 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2008 to Rs 3385.246 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2009....

Posted by : MMB MessengerEducomp Solutions Ltd has informed BSE that Educomps subsidiary, Learning.com acquired Houghton Mifflin Harcourts (HMHs) Connected Tech Texas Technology Applications (Tech Apps), Adoption contracts and an exclusive license to provide the Connected Tech - Texas (CTT) product to Texas Tech Apps Adoption customers. The License, Assignment and Assumption Agreement was signed on September 30, 2009 and Learning.com paid $ 9.95M for the acquisition. This transaction enables Learning.com to expand its outstanding technology applications curriculum and customer service offerings and serve a broader group of Texas school districts. As of fall 2009, CTT licensed install base numbered over 625,000 students in 230 school districts. With the acquisition of CTT contracts, Learning.com now serves nearly two million Texas K - 8 students in 585 school districts. This student population represents nearly 65% of all Texas K-8 public school students....
