The Company made a Net Profit of Rs 5089 crs in Sept Qtr as against Rs 4808 crs in Sept 2008.
Net realisations per barrel was up from $ 46.72 to $ 56.42.
Subsidy burden was lower at Rs 2630 crs (PY Rs 12663 crs).
Rupee appreciation has also helped.

Does anybody know why ONGC is falling. I have bought RS 50,000 worth of stock at a rate of RS 1257 per Stock. Can advice me whether to hold or sell ?...
