Dear Porthos, by the time SEBI approved their Maximum proposed buyback price of Rs. 75/- , the market price had moved higher. Thereafter, Geod management moved SEBI to increase the maximum buyback price. The approval of this is awaited.

You are right, I did check the holders over 1%.
For other boarderd, there is nothing to worry about a little selling by FII`s. Geodesic is still a company with the fifth largest holding by FII`s
I doubt very much whether the share will touch 75 again. If it does`nt Sebi approval has no meaning.
My bet is there will be a bounce fairly soon, once all weak holders have sold, including FII`s...

But the buyback price was Rs 72 and now the price of Geodesic is well above. So is it not the Geodesic management or promoter lowering the price of the company shares so that they can buy again at the lower levels and then it may shoot as it did when the price was quoting at 50s?
Please throw some light on this.

the FII shareholding has dropped only marginally from 53.6 to 52.75 something
the firgure yur are mentioning of 50.64 to 47.68 comes under the heading of public shareholding who own more than 1%. So sum of that has come down. It is by coincidence that this lists has mostly FIIs. Maybe that is why the confusion

I believe buyback was announced more than 6 months back.
Why is it taking so long to get SEBI`s approval?
Moreever, FII selling is not a good news at all....

Rumple, your news about some FII`s selling was absolutely correct. Was talking to someone quite close to the Co.`s management and he mentioned that they are quite perturbed about the sell off by some FIIs, and extra floating stock created in the market. He added that they are keenly waiting for the SEBI approval for buyback, so that they could quickly put an end to the free fall and stabilise the falling price.

I totally agree with Vivek.
Comments related to bulls and bears brings up vital information, which would be very helpful for the investors to think and buy more shares or sell his holding.
If someone who is not confident on the company and just sell his holdings and move away from this board, then there will be messages only with positive comments. This would be a great loss to this board.
We need to have a healthy conversation, be it realted to bears or bull.
I appreciate all of the valuable board member in Geo for their valuable comments.
We all are here to make profit and avoid massive loss.

Its really strange to see the price of Geodesic slipping down each day, albeit very slowly. It has fallen almost 30% from its intermediate high made two months back. In fact market corrected and gradually receovered but Geodesic is yet to respond to that.
All the signs showing positive for the company, but still its down. This is simply not understandable. I sense consolidation now and a big upmove soon.
Even PE rerating is required for Geodesic. I have bought this long back in 2006-07 and I am still holding. I had made profits previously. I hope this time it would give me a bumper profit. Expecting it to treble from here in one year.
