Yes, on correction it can be entered for long term in 1340-1400 range, but before that it may touch 1750-1780 again. The previous top of 1780 is likely to be revisited shortly on the back of good q2 numbers unless overall market corrects. Watch the price movements for the next 2-3 days before that....

the results in the last 2 quarters justify the potential for this stock. Any long term investor can just look at the results and invest their hard earned money in this stock for great returns in the future. If the company can give such results when the economy is in crisis as well as the monssons were not so good, imagine the results it will decalre in a better economic situation...

Auto will be leader in this Bull Rally.

let there be no reward, but this is best time to go for more shares in my opinion. those who just expect bonus during result and buy it and sell after results are in loss, and those who buys when they sell are in profit till now....

Hero Honda Q2 Numbers : Snapshot

India`s largest two-wheeler maker, Hero Honda Motors Ltd, posted a 95% rise in profits in the three months ended 30 September as it benefited from greater economies of scale and lower raw material costs.

This was the second consecutive quarter that the company sold more than a million units.

Net profit in the September quarter rose to Rs 597.1 crore from Rs 306.3 crore a year earlier. Sales rose 27% to Rs 4,040.1 crore from Rs 3,189.7 crore in the year-ago period.

Significantly, sales of premium bikes have risen 40% this calendar year against an overall of 22% rise in sales.

The increase in sales came in spite of a lack of improvement in loans for bikes, Anil Dua, senior Vice-President – Sales, said. Currently, 20-22% of bikes are financed, compared with a record 55% in 2006 calendar year, he said. The company’s margin widened to a record 18.3% from 13.6% compared with a year ago.

Hero Honda Motors Ltd has announced the following Unaudited results for the quarter ended September 30, 2009:

The Company has posted a net profit of Rs 5971.40 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2009 as compared to Rs 3063.00 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2008. Total Income has increased from Rs 32559.30 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2008 to Rs 41281.50 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2009.

You can not expect any better than this. But price movement in short term is not governed by such good news. LT investors need not worry about short term rice movements like yesterday, when it went down by 3% for no reason. ...
