Right now the share is quoting at 47.50.

Listing price of Smart Link would be arount 25 to 30 Rs.

The result are yet to be announced, which would be ok, But the demerger would be very beneficial for the investor for the mid term.

Any other views, Please share....

I read your message that the stock was down 20% a few days back. It was due to the demerger adjustment of the company as on record date all the investors get one free share of smartlink....

Guest U may be proved right in future...........but a few days back I was surprised to see the stock over 20% down.I do not hold the stock but was wondering and came to a possible conclusion that insider trading is at work due to weak results to be announced.

Yes seeing the results today that sales have plunged and NP around 80% down for the year and over 50% down for the quarter the insider selling was a splendid fruitful exercise to get out.Exit!...

In the no Delivery peroid, there is no settlement of shares, therefore whoever is bought D-Link before today would be getting one share of Smart Link.

In this Peroid, the shareprice is very erratic.

I think the stock is undervalued, its book value is about 68.90. After the Dmerger,the companies would be more focused and better valued.

Hi,
This company would be demerged from dlink and listed as a separate entity. We all are getting 1 share of smartlink for 1 share of dlink. Today dlink is at 51 down 15 rs from yesterdays close. This is because the stock has entered into no delivery period today till 25th and based on shareholding on that day it would be determined who would be getting shares for smartlink.
So mostly this price fall is due to de-merging action. In case there is any other reason, please let us know.
So from the looks of today move it seems market is valuing smartlink at around 15 per share. Is this valuation justified. Since both companys are de-merged roughly in ration of 1:1 shouldn`t the listing price of both be same.

Any boarders with any opinion on dlink, please share.

Whats the future for here.
