 1994 - The Company was incorporated on December 1, as a Public
 Limited
        Company with Registrar of Companies, Maharashtra, Mumbai with
 the
        object of manufacturing and marketing state-of-the-art
 electronic
        security equipments and devices.  It has obtained a
 certificate
        of commencement of business on January 31, 1995.
 
      - Zicom is engaged in the business of importing, testing,
        designing, programming, installing and maintaining
        state-of-the-art electronic security systems to safeguard
        industrial and commercial establishment and household
 segment.
 
      - Zicom has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)
 with
        Radionics Inc., USA and Sentrol Inc., USA, for supply and
        technical support of electronic security systems/products in
        India.
 
      - Zicom has signed an Agreement for Technical Assistance with
        Simon Technologies Marketing and Trade Limited, Israel for
        manufacturing, marketing and servicing of electronic security
        systems/equipments in India.
 
      - Zicom is an authorised dealer for Motorola Indala
 Corporation,
        U.S.A. for its electronic security systems such as proximity
        access control, readers, cards and tags.
 
 1995 - The Company came out with a Public Issue of 27,70,000 Equity
        Shares of Rs. 10/- each for cash at par aggregating to Rs.
 277.00
        lacs in November.
 
 1996 - ZICOM is now considered as a reliable brand name for various
        state-of-the-art electronic security systems and equipments
 of
        international standards.
 
      - The Company has launched a unique concept of `ZICOP CLUB' for
 the
        first time in India.
 
      - The Company has introduced in India a unique concept of
 Central
        Monitoring Station for round the clock surveillance at
 clients
        place.  The Company has successfully commissioned its Central
        Monitoring Station at Mumbai and Bangalore.
 
      - The Company has also undertaken marketing of
 telecommunication
        equipments and products like pagers, cellular phones, modems
        etc.; and software for networking products.
 
      - The Company is distributor for modems outers and other
 networking
        products for Motorola in Mumbai and Bangalore and is also  
        distributor for Page Point Services India Pvt. Ltd., for
 HOTLINE
        PAGING SERVICES.  The Company is also a business associates
 of
        Hutchison Max for marketing cellular phones.
 
      - The company introduced the concept of `Intelligent Building
        Management Systems' & `Computerised Fire Fighting Systems',
 which
        will substantially add to the turnover and profitability of
 the
        Company in the future year.
 
 1997 - During the year under review the Company participated in
 various
        prestigious events like Miss World 1996 Beauty Pagent at
        Bangalore, The International Gems and Jewellery Exhibitions
 1996
        and 1997 at Mumbai, and Asiatics in January 1997 in Mumbai by
        providing Electronic Security protection.
 
 1998 - On 29th September, 1997, the name of the Company was changed
 to
        Zicom Electronic Security Systems Limited and a fresh
 Certificate
        of Incorporation to that effect has been issued by the
 Registrar
        of Companies, Maharashtra.
 
 1999 - Zicom has also formally launched Motorola's Smart Cards and
 the
        RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) technology in the
 Indian
        market through a marketing tie-up with Motorola.
 
      - The Mumbai-based Zicom Electronic Security Systems is
        establishing a software centre to develop solutions for smart
        cards and other electric security devices.
 
 2000 - Zicom Electronic Security Systems Ltd is spinning off its
        software business into a separate unit, e-SmartNET.  The new
        firm will provide application solutions and related software
 for
        all smart cards.
 
      - Zicom is expanding its operation by setting up additional CMS
 in
        New Delhi, Hyderabad, Calcutta, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Pune,
 Jaipur,
        Chandigarh, Nagpur, Baroda, Goa and Surat.  The company also
        proposes to have its own wireless systems to reduce cost and
        eliminate any failure of land-line system.
 
      - Preferential issue of equity shares & allotment of 3,00,000
 No.
        of equity shares on preferential basis to OAI Mauritius Ltd
 A/c
        Savers India Fund.
 
      - The Company to consider inter alia modifying the Employees
 Stock 
        Optio Scheme & to consider setting up of wholly owned
 subsidiary in 
        the U.S.A.
 
       - The Company has signed agreements with NSDL and CDSL for
 dematerialisation
          of shares.
 
 2001 - The Company has entered into an agreement under Development
 Partner
              Programme with Computer Associates International Inc,
 USA (CA), for integration
              of Zicom's Access Control Management Agent with CA's
 flagship software Unicenter
               TNG.
 
 2002-Shri R S Hugar, renowned Banker, has joined as a Director of
 Zicom Electronic Security Systems Ltd., a leading electronic security
 solutions provider in India.Mr. Hugar recently retired as Chairman and
 Managing Director of Global Trust Bank Ltd. after a brief tenure of
 nine months.
 
 -Zicom Electronic Security Systems Ltd has informed  that consequent
 upon resignation of Mr Dharmendra Oza who was working as a Company
 Secretary, has ceased to be Compliance Officer of the Company. In his
 place Mr Sunil Mahale has been appointed as a Compliance Officer to
 function as such.
 
 2003 - Delisting of its equity shares from Delhi Stock Exchange.
 
 2004
 
 -Zicom Electronic Security Systems signs $ 1.5 million order
 
 -Delists equity shares from Delhi Stock exchange
 
 -Zicom Electronic Security Systems Ltd launched Z-Security, its
 hi-tech electronic security service initiative, here on July 21,
 2004
 
 2006
 
 -Zicom launches ZICOMhome & ZICOMbusiness products
 
 2007
 
 -Zicom Electronic Security Systems Ltd on June 19, 2007 has entered
 into a strategic tie-up with Future Media for retailing its products
 from exclusive Zicom retail counters placed in 100 outlets of Future
 Group's select retails formats.
