Vivid Chemicals Ltd., was incorporated on 26.6.1987 in the State of
 Maharashtra as a Private Limited company for setting up a Project to
 manufacture 1000 tonnes per annum of Beta Napthol at MIDC Industrial
 Area, Tarapur in Maharashtra.  The cost of the project is Rs.340
 lacs.
 The entire project was implemented in January 1991.  
 
 At present Vivid Chemicals Ltd., has facilities for the manufacture
 of 720 tonnes per annum of Tobias Acid and on completion of
 debottlenecking scheme VCL proposes to augment the plant capacity to
 960 tonnes per annum.   A group company viz. Vivid Intermediate Pvt.
 Ltd., (VIPL) has facilities for the manufacture of 240 tonnes per
 annum of Sulpho tobias Acid and 144 tonnes per annum of N Mythyl J
 Acid *NMJ Acid) at Vapi.  
 Also another concern viz. Vivid Chemicals (VC) a partnership firm has
 faciliteis for the manufacture of 240 tonnes per annum of Sulpho
 tobias Acid  and 192 tonnes per annum of J Acid at Vapi.  
 
 Currently the company has stablised its plant operation and it is
 producing Tobias Acid and other value added products such as Sulpho
 tobias Acid, J Acid and N Mythyl J Acid.
 
 The company was promoted by Mr. Sudhir M. Mody.
 
 2008
 
 -Vivid Chemicals Ltd has appointed Mr. Dharmesh Choksi as an
 Additional Director. He will be an Independent Director on the Board
 of Directors of the Company.
 
 -Company has created eamil id for Grievance Redressal Division /
 Compliance Officer for registering complaints by investors
