Simplex Castings registered as a partnership firm in 1971, was
 incorporated as a private limited company on the 30th January 1980 as
 per the provisions of the Companies Act 1956.  It was converted into a
 public limited company in March 93.  Its installed capacity of 1200
 tpa to manufacture castings and cater to the demadn of major steel
 plants as well as its group company, Simplex Engineering and Foundry
 Works Limited.  The group also diversified in Plastics by installing
 capacity for manufacture of HDPE Woven Sacks and a joint venture with
 M/s Sigmum Brandschutz GmBH, Germany was entered into for
 manufactureof Hi-tech Fire Preservention Systems.
