Standard Cables Limited was incoporated as a Private Limited Company
 on 22.02.1978 and converted into Public Limited Company on 26th June,
 1991. The company has been engaged in manufacturing and marketing of
 different types of copper Armoured & Unarmoured Power, Control &
 Telephone Cables, Wires & Flexibles, Screened Flexibles, PVC
 Insulated Wires and Flexibles etc. The company's products are well
 accepted by industrial customers and bear the Indian Standard
 Institution (ISI) mark for quality.  The  company's customers are
 leading Private & Public Sector companies in Southern India such as
 BHEL, ITI, HMT, NGEF, ISRO, HAL, Lakshmi Machines, SKF, MICO,
 Sundaram Clayton, West Coast Paper Mills, Grasim, Kudremukh etc. The
 Company was initially promoted by Mr. K K Subbaraman, Mr. S S Mani
 and others.  The Company was taken over by Mr. Nirmal Suchanti and
 Mr. V N Tapuriah in the year 1988.

 -Company has changed its name from Standard Cables Ltd. to Savant
 Infocomm Ltd.

 --Registered Office of the Company has been shifted from Flat No 4,
 Ground Floor Rams MANASVINI Apartments to 181, Old No. 78-A, TTK Road
  Alwarpet Chennai 600018.
