The Company was originally incorporated on 28/06/94 with the  main
 object of taking over the running business of  S.M. Impex, being
 proprietorship concern of Mr. Sanjay Mohan  Aggarwal who is the main
 promoter of Sanyo Impex Ltd. M/s S. M. Impex was formed in the year
 1989 for carrying on  Import & Export activities.  The business of
 the concern  grew steadily and the concern made exports over Rs. 2153
 
 lacs for the year ending 31.3.1994.  M/s S.M. Impex was  awarded
 recognition certificate by Ministry of Commerce,  Chief Controller of
 Exports & Imports as a Recognised  Trading House.  M/s S.M. Impex has
 been exporting  handicraft items, eatables and garments to CIS
 countries, EEC countries and Far-East countries.
 
 2000 - New Delhi-based Sanyo Impex Ltd has tied up with Cincom
 Systems of Australia
              Pty Ltd. to set up call centres in and around Delhi.
