The Company was incorporated on 17th March, 1967 in Gujarat. It
 manufactures and sells all kinds of chains and components and other
 allied products.
 
 The Company entered into a technical and financial collaboration
 agreement with Kohter & Bovenkamp of West Germany who agreed to
 supply the latest technical know how designs and manufacturing
 process.
 
 During 1987, the company entered into a technical collaboration
 agreement with a leading chain manufacturer Takasago Chain Co Ltd,
 Tokyo, Japan.
 
 Commercial production of two wheeler chains commenced in November /
 December 1988. The 100% export oriented unit of the company was
 closed down on completion of 10 years period as stipulated by
 Governments.
 
 With the change in the Government policy, it was decided to shift the
 plant from KAFTZ to Vallabh Vidyanagar.
