The Company was incorporated on 15th December, 1984 at Kanpur, U.P.
 The company manufacture cold rolled steel strips.  The company was
 promoted by Roadmaster Industries of India Pvt. Ltd., and the
 Pradeshiya Industrial & Investment Corporation of U.P.Ltd.
 
 The company entered into technical consultancy arrangement with
 Metallurgical & Engineering consultants (India) Ltd., (MECON) to
 provide detailed engineering & consultancy services for the
 implementation of the project.  The MECON was also supplying the main
 4 Hi/2 Hi Reversable Cold Rolling & Skin Pass Mill Manufactured in
 technical collaboration with Wean United U.S.A.
 
 During 1989-90 the company proposed to undertake the second phase of
 expansion for doubling the present installed capicity.  During the
 year, the company made an application for enhancement of its licensed
 capacity from 33,000 TPA to 50,000 TPA.
