Raasi Leasing Limited was incorporated in the state of Andhra Pradesh
 on 21st February, 1984 as a public limited company. The company was 
 promoted by Shri P V L Timma Raju who was a founder Director of M/s.
 Raasi Cements Limited along with Mr. PVL Narasimha Raju, Shri. P
 Suryanarayana Raju and Shri Vijaykumar Raju.
 
 The main line business of the company are Equipment leasing, hire
 purchase and finance.
 
 The Company came out with a rights issue of equity shares in the
 ratio of 3:5 at par, on 8th June 1992. The objective of the issue was
 to finance the long term working capital requirements of the company.
