1987 - PSL Holdings Limited, a flagship Company of the PSL group was
incorporated on
24 August as a 'Private Limited' Company under the
Companies Act 1956 and
commenced commercial operations for pipe coating plants
in 1988 and Fusion
bonded epoxy coating plants in 1989. Subsequently, it
became a deemed Public
Limited Company under Section 43 A (1A) of the Companies
Act, 1956, with effect
from 1st July, 1994, and the word Private was deleted by
the Registrar of Companies,
NCT of Delhi and Haryana.
- The Company's diversified range of activities include
protective coatings (both internal
and external) for steel pipes, epoxy coating for
reinforcement bars (Rebars), manufacture
of epoxy powder paint and galvalum range of aluminium
Sacrificial anodes and
processing of iron ore.
- The Company has modem Coating Plants offering advanced
pipe coating systems
to clients at different locations.
1989 - The plant set up at Daman is engaged in fusion bonded epoxy
coating of reinforcing
steel bars. This product, under the brand name of
'Corrogard' can help to ensure the
life of an RCC construction to its maximum designed
life. Fusion Bonded Epoxy Coatings
are used for buildings, bridges, flyovers, roads,
highways, nuclear and chemical plants,
piers and wharves, sea walls, back waters, water
trnatment plants, RCC pipes, railway
sleepers and electricity and telephone poles.
1992 - To meet the requirement of the mega pipe line Kandla Bhatinda
project, two
more coating facilities were commissioned at Kandla and
Panloat (near Delhi)
1993 - In technical collaboration with UPC (Management Services) Ltd.
of U.K. the
Company has established the first Internal Pipe Coating
facility in India at its Daman
yard. The collaboration agreement was signed on 11
May.
- The Company entered into technical collaboration with
Commercial Resins, U.S.A,
one of the leaders in the United States in the field of
Fusion Bonded Epoxy Coating for
RCC constructions.
1990 - The Company in technical collaboration with Lilly Powder
Coating Inc (U.S.A),
commissioned a plant for manufacture of Epoxy Powder
Paint in special grades used
for oil and gas pipelines, potable water and product,
pipelines, becoming the only unit in India
1992 - The modern plant commissioned at Kandla has a capacity to
manufacture 1500 MT
per annum of Galvalum Sacrificial anodes for cathodic
protection system. It has a
mechanised foundry with induction furnace, spectometer
for carrying out spectrographic
analysis and a well equipped laboratory.
- The Company Commissioned an iron ore processing plant
with a capacity of
1,00,000 mt per annum of processed iron ore at village
Thakuron Ki Dhani,
Tehsil Shahpura, near Jaipur in Rajasthan to meet the,
specialised raw material
requirements of the Company's own pipe coating division
and to cater to the demand
from other pipe coating Companies.
2000 - PSL Holding Ltd, a Rs 300-crore group, is setting up an
anti-corrosion plant in chennai.
2002
-Captures an order worth Rs.605 crs from Gas Authority of India for
decay protection and pipe coating.
2003
-Bags pretigious contract from Indian Oil Corporation for an
aggregate value of Rs. 122.85 crs.
-Appoints Shri Prakash Vinayak Apte as the Additional Director of the
company.
-Appoints Mr N C Sharma as the Additional Director of the company.
-Bags contract worth Rs. 1450 mn from L & T Ltd to carry out the
vishakapatnam Industrial Water Supply Project.
2004
-PSL bags US $ 13.1 million contract in Oman
-PSL Ltd has recently been awarded with an order for supply of API
grade X60 pipes for a gas transmission pipeline to be laid in
Bangladesh
-PSL wins export orders of Rs 75 cr from Bangladesh, Oman to supply
pipes
-Bags icic loman order of Rs 121 crore for the supply of spiral
welded pipes from Hindustan Construction Company to carry out the
Godavari Lift Irrigation Scheme project for Government of Andhra
Pradesh.
-PSL Ltd has bagged three orders for a value totalling Rs 300 crore
from Bangladesh Gas Transmission Co Ltd, Indian Oil Corporation and
Hyundai Heavy Industries for ONGC
-Delist from The Delhi Stock Exchange (DSE) with effect from December
11, 2004.
2005
-PSL joins hands with Deutsche Bank
2006
- PSL Ltd has informed that the Company has bagged, against Global
competition a prestigious contract for supply of pre coated API 5L Gr
B (PSL 2) Spiral Weld Pipes valuing over US$ 20.0 million for meting
the requirements of MINISTRY OF HOUSING, ELECTRICITY & WATER (MHEW) -
OMAN.
-PSL Ltd has informed that the Company has bagged a prestigious
contract for supply of Carbon Steel Barc Line Pipes valuing Rs 308
Crores for meeting the requirements of BINA Refinery in Sultanate of
Oman.
-PSL Ltd has informed that Company is being awarded with a
prestigious contract of Ministry of Housing, electricity and water,
Sultanate of Oman for supply of API Grade Steel Pipes.
-The Company secures an order from L&T worth Rs 1680 mn.
-The Company being the largest manufacturer of high-grade large
diameter Helical Submerged Arc Weldod (HSAW) Pipes has been awarded
with two new prestigious contracts having an aggregate value of Rs
4880 million.
2007
-The Company has now added a fifth dimension to its national pipe
manufacturing grid by commissioning a newly installed Pipe Mill
having an initial output capacity of 75,000 MT per annum which may be
expanded to 1,50,000 MT per annum.
-SL Ltd has bagged an order worth US$ 21 million for the gas field
known as KG-DNN-98/3, within the K.G.Basin, Bay of Bengal, off the
east coast of India.
-The Company has bagged several Onshore & Offshore Pipeline Projects
Order valuing Rs 1045 Crores.
-The Company has been awarded with yet another prestigious Contract
for Supply of Coated Line Pipes and Long Radius Bends worth Rs 125
Crores for 200 Kms.
-The Company has bagged, against Global competition, a prestigious
Contract from FUSION PROVIDA LTD., ENGLAND - a leading U.K. Company
for Supply of 1,24,000 Meters 3 LPE Coated Line Pipes having size of
20 X 9.5 API 5L X 60 valuing over USD 17 Million to CAMEG S.P.A.,
ALGERIA.
2008
-The Company has been awarded with another series of prestigious
orders encompassing supply of Steel Pipes for both Oil and Water
Pipelines aggregating to Rs 1.225 Crores from two prestigious
Companies namely Larsen & Toubro Ltd & HPCL - Mittal Pipelines Ltd.
-The Company has been awarded by BPCL with a prestigious order for
supply of Carbon Steel Bare Line Pipes.
-The Company has been awarded by Gail (India) Ltd prestigious
Contract for manufacture and supply of Carbon Steel Pipes.
-Company's subsidiary Company PSL FZE, based in Sharjah, UAE, has
been awarded an order for supply of steel pipes aggregating US
million.
2009
-The Company bags Rs 500-cr order from GAIL for pipeline project.
-The Company has decided payment of a final Dividend of Rs.2.50 per
equity share.
2010
-The Company bags fresh Contracts for over Rs 425 Crores.
-The Company bags fresh contracts for over Rs. 565 Crores.
-The Company has bagged an order worth approximately Rs 200 cr from
Indian Oil Corporation for its Paradip-Raipur-Ranchi Pipeline.
2011
-PSL's subsidiary receives Saudi Arabian Order worth US $ 80
Million.
-PSL Secures Prestigious Orders totaling Rs. 753 Crores from Gail
(India) Ltd.
-The Company secures a prestigious contract valuing over Approx. Rs.
230 crores from NTPC Limited.
-Procurement of orders aggregating to about Rs. 270 Crores for Shale
Gas Projects in USA.
2012
-The Company secures prestigious orders totaling Rs. 924 Crores from
leading engineering and construction companies.
-The Company and its Foreign Subsidiary Bagged various orders
cumulating over Rs. 742 Crores.
-The Company has bagged Rs 570 crore order from Indian Oil
Corporation Ltd for supplying pipes and provisions of ancillary
coating services towards the Sallya-Mathura pipeline project. |
