The Company was originally incorporated as a Private Limited Company
 in the name of Diamond Coir (India) Pvt. Ltd on 26.10.1986. 
 Subsequently, the name of the Company along with the status was
 changed to the present MOONBEAM INDUSTRIES LTD on 22nd May, 1992. 
 The plant of the Company is located in Industrial area of Sikandrabad
 (Dist Bulandshahar) Uttar
 Pradesh which is just 55 Kms from Delhi. Moonbeam Industries Ltd. is
 manufacturing Rubberised coir products, Fibre pillows, Quilts &
 Bedspreads and marketing its products under the brand name Moonbeam.
 The Company has started its operations in north India and established
 its presence in all over the country. Presently the Company is
 marketing its products through a chain of distributors all over
 India.  In a short span of 5 years the Company introduced 5 types of
 mattresses in the market.  The Company is registered with Coir Board
 of India with registration No.CB/1E/ND/23 dated 29.12.92. 
 Registration with the Coir Board enables the Company to market its
 products through chain of Coir
 Board Showroom/Outlets and to export in the overseas market.
 
 
 2003
 
 -Moonbeam Industries Ltd has informed that at the Annual General
 Meeting held on September 29, 2003, the members have approved the
 delisting of the company from the Delhi stock exchanges.
 
 2012
 
 -Company has changed its name from Moonbeam Industries Ltd. to MBI
 Intercorp Ltd.
