YEAR                       EVENTS
 1993 - The Company was incorporated on 17th March as a Public
 Limited
        Company and obtained certificate of commencement on 19th
 July.
        KUL is promoted by Shri H.D. Katwa, Smt. N.H. Katwa and Shri
 M.L.
        Bevinketti to take up the business of manufacture and sale of
        cement.  The Company objective of the company is to
 manufacture
        ordinary portland cement.
 
      - In April, the company purchased a 20 TPD plant from KSFC. 
 The
        plant was situated at Bagalkot Taluk, Karnataka.  The Company
        marketing the cement in its own brand name `Jyoti Cement'.
 
 1995 - The Company proposed to add further capacity of 50 tonnes per
        day, install electronic weight feeder system and to acquire
 other
        assets such as weigh bridge, D.G. Sets, loader and goods and
        transport vehicle.
 
      - During January, the Company offered 31,60,000 No. of equity
        shares of Rs. 10 each for cash at par of which 17,800 shares
 were
        offered to the employees (Only 16,500 shares were taken up. 
        Balance added to the public issue).  7,50,000 shares were
 offered
        to the NRIs, FIIs (All were taken up), 23,92,200 shares were
        offered to public (all were taken up).  Additional 33,000
 shares
        were allotted including unsubscribed portion from employees
        quota.
 
 1996 - 19,32,500 shares were held by Promoters, directors, their
 friends
        and relatives.
 
 2006
 
 -Katwa Udyog has recommended 10% dividend
 
 2008
 
 -Company name has been changed from Katwa Udyog Ltd to Shri Keshav
 Cements & Infra Ltd.
