Intron Limited, a public limited company, was originally incorporated
 in the year 1973 under the name of Haryana Polychems Private Limited,
 and the name has since been changed to Intron Limited and the company
 obtained a fresh certificate of incorporation dt. 8th November, 1988.
 The factory is located at Plot 7C, Sector 18, Maruti Industrial
 Complex, Gurgaon (Haryana) and its registered office  at A-22, Green
 Park,
 Aurobindo Marg, New Delhi- 110016. The shareholders of the company in
 their Extraordinary General Meeting  held on August 30, 1991 have
 passed a special resolution to shift the Registered Office of the
 Company to the State of Haryana, subject to approval of the Company
 Law Board.
 
 The immediate object of the company is to set up facilities for the
 manufacture of Fully Automatic and Programmable washing machines,
 washer dryers, and dish washers. The Company has started marketing of
 AWMs and the response has been encouraging. 
 
 The company is setting up facilities for manufacture of Automatic
 Controlled Electronically Programmable Washing Machines (AWM) and
 Washer Dryers (AWD) with an installed capacity of 20000 Nos. per
 annum and have commenced production of AWMs since November, 1991. The
 AWMs are being marketed under the brand name 'INTRON'. The company is
 now expanding its
 aggregate capacity to 50000 machines per annum for the  existing
 products (i.e. AWMs & AWDs) and also go in for the manufacture of
 Automatic Dishwashers (ADWs).
 
 MAIN OBJECTS THE COMPANY
 The main objects of the company as stated in the Memorandum of
 Association of the company are as follows:
 
 To manufacture, produce, assemble or otherwise engage generally in
 the maufacture or production of or dealing in all kinds of  consumer
 and industrial equipment and appliances, whether manual, mechnical,
 electrical, electronic or Computerised programmable including
 air-conditioning plants, refregeration equipment, industrial fans,
 parts and sub-assemble of non-convertional sources of energy,
 air-conditioners, refrigerators, washing machines, dishwashers,
 ovens, toasters, vaccum cleaners, television and other wireless
 apparatus.
  
 To carry on the business of installation, fabrication, manufacturing
 of all types of office machinery, office and bank equipments,
 components, computers data processing machines, punch cards, computer
 tapes, office gadgets and tools whether electrical or electronic, 
 automatic, semi-automatic or manually operated and to act as buyers,
 sellers, repairers, service engineers, consultants, importers,
 exporters and dealers in all such office machines and equipments.
 
 To manufacture, trade in, hire lease, Purchase, import, export, and
 generally deal in know how for equipments and systems connected with
 security surveillance and detection service scientific instruments,
 process control   instruments, nautical, aeronautical and survey
 instrument and their accessories and components.
