2002
 
 -Department of Company Affairs rejects the ITDC's proposal to
 demerger of Ashoka Hotel in
 Agra and Mamallapuram in Tamil Nadu.
 
 -ITDC and Rajasthan Tourism Development Corporation have entered into
 an agreement,
 where ITDC will be promoting the packages and properties of RTDC.
 
 -Government lowered bank guarantees for ITDC Hotels, it has been
 lowered from Rs.100cr to Rs.50cr.
 
 -India Tourism Development Corporation has reduced prices of liquor
 at its duty free shops
 by about 7-10%.
 
 -ITDC, with a view to expand its business in all directions and
 strike growth has entered
 into joint venture with Tamil Nadu, Jharkhand and Uttarpradesh
 government to provide
 support in infrastructure development and travel related services.
 
 -Dom Perignon and Champagne Brut Maxime Godet  is to be available in
 a special, exclusive  outlet at major international airports, ITDC.
 
 -Government sold ITDC's properties at Kovalam and Manali after
 receiving bids for the
 properties.
 
 -ITDC is tieing up with Amity group, to foray into education with a
 view to offer specialised
 cources in tourism and hospitality management.
 
 -ITDC is all set to spread its wings into outbound and cruisse
 business.
 
 -Taj-GVK Hotels have emerged as the frontrunner for the ITDC's
 Chandigarh property
 
 -ITDC has introduced an exclusive perfume and cosmetic boutique at
 the Indira Gandhi 
 International airport 
 
 -ITDC and Kerala Tourism Development Corporation have signed an
 agreement 
 for ITDC's Ashok Reservation and Marketing services to market KTDC
 hotels
 on standard commission.
 
 2003
 
 -Delhi High court has directed ITDC and private resturant owners of
 Hotel Ashoka
 to apply for Health Licenses and resolve other issues with NDMC.
 
 
 2005
 
 -Srinivas Fine joins hands with ITDC to retail its paper products at
 the ITDC-owned duty-free shops at airports
 
 2007
 
 -India Tourism Development Corporation Ltd has appointed Shri.
 Jyotindra Jain & Shri. Zubin Karkaria as additional Directors on the
 Company's Board with effect from July 19, 2007.
