Haryana suraj maltings ltd (HSML) was originally incorporated on 
 30th august 1990 as sugar maltings pvt ltd., which was subsequently
 converted into a public limited company on 9th december 1991.  The
 name
 of the company was then changed to haryana surag maltings ltd on 6th
 march 1992.  The company is an assisted sector unit of haryana agro
 industries corporation ltd with their equity participation of Rs.17
 lacs
 
 At present the company is engaged in the business of manufacturing
 barley  malt with an installed capacity of 10,000 TPA the comany is
 now
 planning to enhance its installed capacity to 20,000 TPA Barely malt
 is
 basically used for the manufacture of beer, malted whiskey and malt
 extract.
