The company was incorporated on 6th May , 1987.  It was promoted
 by Shri K.S. Shriram and Associates in the Private Sector with
 project finance assistance from IDBI, ICICI, and IFCI.  
 
 The company has set up a project for the manufacture of high
 precision co ordinate measuring machines and machine tools. The
 licensed capacity of the project is 200 Nos.  of 3 co-ordinate
 Measuring Machines , 200 Nos. of layout measuring Machines and
 300 Nos. of HOrizontal surface Grinding Machines. 
 
 The company has entered into Technical know-how arrangement with M/s
 Digital Electronic Automation S.P.A  Italy , M/s Manufacture
 Francaise
 D' out illage, France, and M/s Guesepp Rastelli, s.p.a Italy .
 
 The project  cost  estimated at Rs.1037 lakhs was financed
 through Equity Capital of Rs.397 lakhs and Term Loans from
 Institutions for Rs.640 lakhs.  The project is located at
 Tiruvindravur Chingai - Anna District Tamil Nadu, on a land
 measuring approximately 6 acres.  The accounting year has since
 been changed from 31 December to 31st march.  
 
 The company manufactures co-ordinate measuring  machines and
 Machines Tools.
