 -Facor Alloys Ltd has nominated Mr. R Sampath as new nominee on the
 Board of Directors of the Company with effect from July 26, 2007.
 
 - Facor Alloys Ltd has informed that Mr. Gautam Khaitan and Mr. A S
 Kapre have been appointed as Additional Directors of the Company with
 effect from October 27, 2007.

 - The Board of Directors have approved payment of Interim Dividend
 for the year 2008-09 on Equity Shares of Re 1/- each @ 15% (Rs 0.15
 per equity share.).

 - The Company has entered into long term contracts for one year with
 Baosteel Resources Co. Ltd., China and Shandong Taishan Steel Group
 Co. Ltd., China for supply of 2000 M.T. & 1000 M.T. High Carbon Ferro
 Chrome per month respectively.

 - The Company has acquired controlling interest in BEC Power Pvt.
 Ltd. (BEC) by paying a total consideration of Rs. 15.99 crores.
