The company was incorporated on 3rd September, 1943 at Shore Cantt.
 Bhopal. It manufactures sugar by double sulphitation process and
 produces/processes oil and oil seeds. In 1983-84, 2 fully paid equity
 shares of Rs.100 each of Sanrose Investment co. pvt ltd., were
 acquired making it a subsidiary of the company.
 
 Subsequently, the  company subscribed to 19978  equity share of
 Rs.100 of Sanrose of which Rs.25 per share was paid up. The company
 proposed to promote and incorporate a new company in the name of
 'Jagmanek Export Ltd, as a wholly owned subsidiary with an objective 
 to engage in export activity.
 
 2002- BSI Ltd has informed that, the company has become a Sick
 Industrial Company as per             SICA, 1985 and registered with
 BIFR as Case No.149/98. The BIFR has declared the             company
 as 'Sick Industrial Company' and IDBI has been appointed as Operating 
            agency.
