Bharat Immunological and Biologicals corporation Limited incorporated
 on 10 March, 1989 as a Public Limited Company under the Companies
 Act, rated on 10 March, 1989 as a Public Limited Company under the
 Companies Act, 1956 and obtained the certificate of commencement of
 business on 20th March, 1989 from the Registrar of companies, Kanpur,
 Uttar Pradesh. The Registered office of the Company is localted at
 395, Civil Lines, Bulandshahr 203001 Uttar Pradesh. The company is
 setting up a project at village chola, District Bulandharh, Uttar
 Pradesh for the manufacture of 100 million doses of Oral Polio
 Vaccine per annum and also undertake R&D in the area of
 immunologicals.
 
 The Company has been promoted by Government of India, Ministry of
 Science and Technology, Department of Biotechnology in the Public
 sector.
 
 2000 - The Board has allotted equity shares to Govt. of India on
 preferential basis.

 -Bharat Immunologicals & Biologicals Corporation Ltd  has appointed
 Sh. N S Samant, Joint Secretary, Department of Biotechnology as
 Director of the Company in place of Sh. U N Behera, with effect from
 January 19, 2007.
