 1991 - The Company was incorporated as a Private Limited Company on
        13th September, and subsequently converted into a Public
 Limited
        Company on 06th April 1993 in terms of a special resolution
 dated
        01/03/1993 passed U/s 31(1)/44 of the Companies Act 1956.  
 
      - The Company is promoted by Mr.B.Malla Reddy and Mrs. 
        C.Prameelamma.  They were joined subsequently by Mr. P.A
        Chitrakar.  All the above Promoters are technically qualified
        entrepreneurs and have relevant experience in the industry.

 1997 - Astra Microwave Products Ltd has been approved for ISO 9001
        registration by the US-based KPMG Peat Marwick.
 
 1999 - During the Year the Company has accepted deposits from the
 public
        in terms of section 58 A of the Companies Act 1956.
 
 2000 - The Company has entered into a strategic alliance with the
        US-based US Asia Telecom (Skytiger.com)
 
 2003 -  Appointment of Mr T Ajnjaneyulu as Company Secretary
 
 2004
 
 -Astra Microwave Products bags Rs. 89 mn order frm Bharat Electronics
 Ltd., Hyderabad
 
 2005
 -Astra Microwave receives purchase order worth Rs 273.70 mn
 
 -ISRO partners with Astra Microware to produce AWS
 
 2008
 
 -Astra Microwave Products Ltd has informed that the Board of
 Directors of the Company at their meeting approved for change of the
 Registered office from 6-3-639/640, 303, 3rd Floor, Golden Edifice
 Building, Khairatabad, Hyderabad - 500 004 to its own building at
 ASTRA TOWERS, Survey No:12 (Part), Opp. CII Green Building, Hitech
 City, Kondapur, Hyderabad - 500 038, Andhra Pradesh with effect from
 February 25, 2008.
 
 - Astra Microwave Products Ltd has got a Rs 25.5-crore contract from
 the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
 
 2009
 
 - Astra Microwave Products Ltd has appointed Dr. Shiban K Koul as
 Chairman of the Company with effect from August 28, 2009.
