The company was incorporated on 21st January, 1984 and the certificate
 of commencement of Business was obtained on 27th January, 1984.
 It was promoted by Vidya Sagar Gupta and Kishan Chand Aggarwal.
 The commpany started commercial activities in May 1984.
 It manufactures and exports handmade wool and silk pile carpets.
 Crystal Water Co. Ltd., became a subsidiary of the company during
 1986,  This subsidiary undertook to manufacture
 water-coolers-cum-heaters under the brand name HOT IN COLD, Trial
 operations commenced in June 1987.
 
 Pelican Construction Ltd., become a subsidiary of the company during
 1987-88.
 
 The company has also diversified its activities into the field of
 imports, consumer durables and real estate business.
