 1987 - The company was incorporated as a Pvt. Ltd. Co. on 16th
 December.
        It as converted into a Public Ltd. Co. on 27th February 1992.
        The Company was promoted by Shri N. Rajan's Associates.  The
        object of the company is the setting up of an Unit for the
        manufacture of Spun Cotton Yarn.
 
      - The Company set up a spinning unit with an installed capacity
        of 12,096 spindles.
 
 1993 - During January the Company came out with a public issue of
        29,00,000 No. of equity shares of Rs. 10 each for cash at par
 to
        part finance its project.
 
      - 22,00,000 No. of equity shares of Rs. 10 each allotted to
        Promoters, Directors, their friends & relatives.  2,00,000
 No.
        of equity shares of Rs. 10 each allotted to LIC Mutual Fund,
        2,00,000 No. of equity shares of Rs. 10 each allotted to
 Canbank
        Mutual Fund and 29,00,000 No. of equity shares of Rs. 10 each
        for cash at par allotted to the public.
 
 1995 - 12,50,000 No. of equity shares of Rs. 10 each at a premium of
        Rs. 18 per share allotted to the promoters.
 
 2008
 
 -Amarjothi Spinning Mills Ltd has appointed, Sri. V T Subramanian as
 an Additional Director (Independent Director) of the Company.
