YEAR                       EVENTS
 2000 - The Scheme of Amalgamation, under which the Kerala-based
 Alstom
        T&D Distribution Transformers Ltd. would merge with Alstom
 Ltd.
        has been duly sanctioned by the High Courts at Calcutta and
        Ernakulam.
 
      - Alstom Ltd, the domestic outfit of Franc's -billion Alstom
 is
        considering a merger with ABB Alstom Power India, another
 group 
        company, to create the country's largest power and energy
        equipment maker.
 
     - Alstom Ltd has informed that at the meeting of the Board of
 Directors of the company held on June 21, 2002 Mr K K Moradian,
 Managing Director submitted his resignation and requested to be
 relieved from the close of business on June 30, 2002. The Board has
 accepted the same, the Board appointed Dr Krishna Pillai, Managing
 Director of Alstom Power India Ltd and already a member of the Board,
 as the Deputy Chairman and Joint Managing Director of the company. The
 Board has also co-opted Mr Ajay Dhagat, who is presently heading the
 company's T&D segment, as an Additional Director was appointed as
 Joint Managing Director.
 
 2002

 Board of the company,

 2003
 
 -Promoters of the company offload 4.15% of the equity to persons
 acting in concert.
 
 -Signs a 50mn Euro contract with Jayaprakash Power Ventures Ltd
 India, for the supply of major hydro-generating plant equipment for
 400MW.
 
 -Bags Rs.87cr contract from Hindalco Industries.
 
 -Sells its Transmission & Distribution activities to Areva for 950 mn
 Euros.
 
 -Members approve for delisting of shares from Madra Stock Exchange.
 
 -Areva buyes Alstom's worldwide Transmission & Distribution business

 -Alstom bags order worth Rs 500 Cr from GVK Industries
 
 2005
 
 - HSBC Securities & Capital Markets (India) Pvt Ltd (Manager to the
 Offer) for and on behalf of Areva T&DSA (Acquirer) and Areva T&D
 Holding SA (Person Acting in Concert), pursuant to Regulation 10 and
 12 and other applicable provision and as required under the
 Securities and Exchange Board of India (Substantial Acquisition of
 Shares & Takeovers) Regulation, 1997 and subsequent amendments
 thereto (Takeover Regulations) has announced the following to the
 shareholders of Alstom Ltd (Target Company):
 
 The Offer
 
 Pursuant to Regulation 10 and 12 and other applicable provision of
 Chapter III of the Takeover Regulations the Acquirer is making an
 Open Offer to the shareholders of the Target Company to acquire up to
 7,977,495 fully paid up equity shares of Rs 10/- each of the Target
 Company representing up to 20% of the present fully paid up equity
 share capital of the Target Company at Rs 75.03/- per equity share
 (Offer Price) to all the shareholders of the Target Company who
 tender their equity shares and whose equity shares are acquired by
 the Acquirer.
 
 2005
 
 -Company has changed its name from Alstom Ltd. to Areva T&D India Ltd
    
 
 2012
 
 -Company has changed its name from Areva T&D India Ltd. to Alstom T&D

 2007
 
 - Areva T&D India Ltd has appointed Mr. Rathin Basu as Managing
 Director (MD) of the Company, in place of Mr. A K Dhagat (who has
 since resigned), subject to the approval of the shareholders. Mr.
 Basu's appointment will be for a period of five years, with effect
 from February 01, 2007.
 
 2008
 
 -Areva T&D India Ltd has informed that the Board of Directors of the
 Company at its meeting held on February 28, 2008, inter alia, has
 accepted the resignation of Mr. M V Dhekne from the Board and in his
 place Mr. Subir Raha was included to the Board.
 
 - Areva T&D India and GE Consumer and Industrial-India on Sept 29
 declared a strategic partnership to concentrate on turnkey electrical
 solutions.
 
 - The Company has splits its face value from Rs10/- to Rs2/-.
 
 -Registered Office of the Company has been shifted From D-2,
 Gillander House, 8 Netaji Subhas Road, Kolkata 700 001 To DLF IT
 Park,No. 8, Major Arterial Road Block-AF, Tower C, 8th FloorNew

 2009
 
 -  State Electricity Transmission Company Limited has awarded Areva
 T&D India the Rs 110 crore contract for construction of WBSETCL's
 third 400 KV substation in Kharagpur. Three more 400 kV substations
 will be commissioned one each in Gokorno, Chanditola and
 Bhangor-Rajarhat area.
 
 2010
 
 - Areva T&D India Ltd has won 1500 MINR contract for Indiabulls
 Amravati and Nasik Power Projects.
 
 2011
 
 -Alstom wins contract via NASL to retrofit air quality control system
 in India 
 
 -Alstom has signed a contract worth nearly one billion euros to build
 a new power plant in Estonia 
 
 -Alstom-led consortium wins contract worth over €285 million to build
 India’s first variable speed pumped storage hydro power plant
 
 -Alstom wins 180 MW Gas Turbine order for a power plant in Bangladesh
 
 
 2012
 
 -Alstom Grid wins contract worth around €25 million for a 765 kV
 Extra High Voltage substation in India 
 
 -Alstom T&D India wins a 400 kV substation contract worth 840 MINR
 from Chattisgarh State Power Transmission Co. Ltd.
 
 -Alstom T&D India (globally known as Alstom Grid) has successfully
 commissioned electrical balance of plant (eBoP) package for Salaya
 Project.
 
 -Alstom T&D India wins 960 MINR contract from MSETCL for 400 kV
 Gas-insulated substation in Maharashtra, western India.
 
 -Alstom T&D India wins 410 MINR contract for 400/220kV substation at
 Daltonganj.
 
 -Alstom and Druk Green Power Corporation to establish a joint venture
 for services of hydro components in Bhutan.
 
 -Alstom T&D India wins 1580 MINR contract for 400 kV substation at
 Meja.
  
 -Alstom wins 800 kV UHVDC contract in India.
 
 -Registered Office of the Company has been shifted from E-48/7, Okhla
 Industrial Area, Phase II, New Delhi - 110020 to A-18, First Floor,
