YEAR                      EVENTS
 1992 - Somani Printer Ribbons Ltd., was incorporated on 23rd
 December,
        as a Private Limited Company, under the Companies Act 1956,
 with
        an authorised share capital of Rs. 5.00 lakhs for the
 manufacture
        & marketing of computer ribbons.
 
 1994 - The Company was subsequently converted into a Public Limited
        Company by passing a special resolution dated 30th July, and
        certificate of change of name was obtained on 14th October.
 
      - The main objects of the Company as set out in the Memorandum
 and
        Articles of Association are to carry on the business of 
        manufacturer, buyer sellers, importers, exporters, dealers
 and
        distributors of computer ribbons, computer stationery and
 other
        computer consumables.
 
      - The Company manufactures printer ribbons with brand name of
        ABEE which is well established in the market.  Because of the
        good quality of the products, the Company was recently
 awarded
        ISO 9002 certification.
 
      - The Company has manufactured 17.55 Lac metres of printer
 ribbons
        on an installed capacity of 30 Lac metres per annum for the
 six
        months period ended 30.09.1994 thus acheiving a capacity
        utilisation of 117.00%.
 
 1995 - The Company made its first Public Issue which open for public
        subscription on 2nd May.
 
 1996 - The Company proposes to capture Global Markets in various 
        developing countries.
 
 1998 - The Company had undertaken new projects and entered into new
        contracts. 
 
 2000 - A Technology transfer agreement is set to be signed between
        Pune-based Abee Info-Consumables Ltd, and UK-based IT Image
 Ltd,
        for the manufacture of compatible laser and inkjet cartridges.
 
        For this purpose, a joint venture company, Abee IT India Ltd,
 has
        been formed.
