There could have been some more visibility around disinvestment and the kind of targets that they have set for the disinvestment process.
The increase in minimum alternate tax (MAT) is obviously not a very good thing for us or for corporate India as a whole. I think it has a potential to impact interest rates which might get pushed upwards because of MAT going up.
Fringe benefit tax (FBT) doesn’t have a big impact in terms of numbers. It is not a financial impact but the hassle of administering it for companies like us, that’s done away with. So that in essence is also a positive policy decision.
The biggest sort of cause of worry of this budget would be the fiscal deficit.
