The previous years figures have been regrouped wherever necessary. 3. The Company´s business is seasonal in nature and the performance can be impacted by weather conditions. 4. The accounting policy for depreciation was changed in 2005 which involved write back of Rs 191.229 million in that year. 5. Sales during year ended December 31, 2005 included Rs 56.340 million towards price difference recovered on export sales of 2004. 6. As part of global restructuring, Syngenta has divested its cotton seed business to Delta & Pine Land Company. Profits of Rs 42.00 million accruing India is shown as exceptional item and is included in Seeds segment results for the year ended December 31, 2006. 7. The Board has recommended a dividend of 150%(Rs 7.5 Per equity share of Rs 5/- each) for the year ended December 31, 2006. 8. The Annual General Meeting of the Company will be held on April 25, 2007. 9. The Register of Members of the Company will remain closed from April 14, 2007 to April 258, 2007 for the purpose of payments of dividend that would be declared at Annual General Meeting .
